The Bells Museum

The art of chiming, in which the temporal is associated with the spiritual, is more than three hundred years old in Tourcoing. The chimes are the 4th most important in France: 62 bells with the great bell weighing more than 6 tons. The long spiral staircase leading to the vast bell room, to a dial room and the bell-ringer’s cabin, provides a superb panorama of the town.

The bells Museum is open from May to October, every sunday from 3 to 6 pm except on bank holidays. The rest of the year, visits on request: +33 (0)3 59 63 43 43.
