The Town Hall

Building of neo-gothic style, this style permitted the link with a particularly glorious past : the triumphant Middle Ages marked by a rather impressive industrial and intellectual development.
The building of the Town Hall was decided in 1886.
the school decided to resort to a competition in which 22 architects took part among whom Victor Horta. The first stone was laid on 28 may, 1888 and the inauguration took place on 13 july, 1890.
