La cathédrale Notre Dame de la Treille

The neo-gothic cathedral was constructed in 1854 on the ancient fondations of the first castle of the counts of Flanders.
The fine facade only dates to 1999 : Architect P.L. Cartier, the rose window by Kijno and Georges Jeanvlos made the remarkable entrance.

Under the modern crypt, a surprising museum of contemporary crowned art is opened on every Saturday, from 3 pm till 6 pm (except in January and the holidays)
